Your weapon coating charges are now visible directly in the HUD — a small charge counter appears beneath your equipped weapon whenever a coating is active. You can see exactly how many coated strikes you have left before the effect expires, so you can time your swings instead of guessing.
Misses no longer burn a charge. Previously, a dodge-roll or movement from your target during a coated swing wasted the coating as if you’d landed a hit. That’s fixed — charges only deplete on contact.
Gold ingot forging arrives as a new crafting tier at the blacksmith station. Gold ingots bridge the gap between standard metalwork and high-value crafted goods, opening recipes that were previously gated behind trade-only materials.
The biggest change to the tanning pipeline: every monster hide and fur drop now has a tanning recipe. No more vendor trash. Whether you’re pulling Shadow Fur off a shadow wolf, Revenant Hide from a dungeon lieutenant, or a rare pelt from a biome creature you’ve never tanned before, there’s a recipe waiting at the tanning rack. Check the leather tanning guide for the full updated recipe list.
