Historical note: Wanderfolk's public release path is now Steam-first. Older update posts may refer to the browser build or earlier desktop plans as they existed when originally published.
Peaceful mode is now fully polished and production-ready.
The biggest addition is dungeon behavior in peaceful mode. You can now explore every dungeon floor without a single fight — monsters disengage on sight, leaving you free to navigate corridors, solve layouts, and open treasure chests as normal. The loot is all there; the combat is simply optional.
We also fixed several hostile disengage edge cases where enemies would briefly pursue you after peaceful mode was toggled mid-encounter. That’s resolved — the toggle is now instant and reliable.
If you haven’t tried it yet: Peaceful Mode lives in the pause menu and can be flipped on or off at any time. It’s the same world, same quests, same romance — just no one trying to kill you.
